Frank K4FMH is giving the May program, “Using web-based sdr receivers in the ham shack.” He has been using SDR radios for some 15 years. K4FMH will describe how web-based SDR receivers work, why a ham might want to use one, and how they can be used with a local transceiver to mitigate high local RF noise. Frank will give live demonstrations of two popular implementations of web-based SDR receivers, KiwiSDR and WebSDR.
